There is only one universal language understood by everyone, everywhere – this is MUSIC.
Music teaches us to recognize and appreciate beauty all around us and it is a path to express our feelings. Music brings discipline, educates the spirit, and develops brain connectivity in people of all ages.

Based on student achievement and testimonials, Thorncrest Music Academy is considered one of the top private music schools in Toronto. The school is located in the beautiful Etobicoke (intersection Islington and Rathburn). The teachers at the school have advanced university degrees in music and are certified teachers with Ontario College of Teachers in Toronto. They bring in the studio a wealth of experience in teaching students of all ages, levels and styles.

With love, patience, responsibility and respect, our team of teachers offers well proven methods for teaching an instrument or voice with astounding results in short time. Our private lessons are designed for students to learn music for fun or to prepare for exams for the Royal Conservatory of Music ( www.rcmexaminations.org ) or to help them receive high marks in music schools programs, high schools or University.

Every year Thorncrest Music Academy organizes concerts for students to get experience in performing in front of an audience.

Thorncrest Music Academy offers private and group lessons of piano, guitar, voice, violin, viola, cello, bass, flute, recorder and also for music theory, solfege, dictation, rhythmic dictation. Our teachers also guide the students how to read, write, improvise music, sight reading, ear training, and music harmony.

The school can provide instruments books & supplies to students (to rent or to buy) at the very affordable prices. We provide our students also the possibility to practice in a studio of the school in the limit of availability.
